Joe studied classic gardens — the formal English estates, the structured Italian terraces, the naturalistic Japanese compositions — and drew design inspiration from their timeless principles. Early in his career, Joe earned a commission to landscape an entire island in the Florida Keys — a project that tested his skills across unfamiliar terrain and climate.
